October 9, 2012 – MEDIA RELEASE – Ministry of Environment Issues Approval for Lystek Centre in Southgate Eco Park – Lystek has been notified by the Ministry of the Environment (MoE) that all three of its Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECA’s) for waste, air and storm/surface water have been approved. This marks the final milestone required for the company to complete construction of its Organic Material Recovery Centre (OMRC) located in the Township of Southgate’s Eco Park.

June 1, 2012 – Lystek had the privilege of escorting the Bruce & Grey Federations of Agriculture on a tour of the City of Guelph’s Waste Water Treatment Plant, to see the Lystek process in action. The Tour was followed by an in depth presentation, outlining the features and the benefits of the CFIA registered fertilizer that is produced at the plant. The information was received enthusiastically by the 22 farmers that were in attendance.
The Township of Centre Wellington is undertaking a major expansion and retrofit to their existing Wastewater Treatment Plant
January 20, 2012 – The Township of Centre Wellington is undertaking a major expansion and retrofit to their existing Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Elora, Ontario to accommodate future growth and improve the quality of the effluent discharged to the Grand River. The project is estimated to have a total capital value of $16.5 million. The construction contract will be tendered and construction will commence in the second quarter of 2012. The plant upgrade will feature Lystek technology as one of its core design and operating elements. This patented technology will convert the biosolids into a CFIA registered fertilizer, and significantly reduce the volume of material for storage and beneficial use. December 23, 2011 – Today, Southgate Town council gave final approval to Lystek International with respect to its site plan for the Dundalk Organic Materials Recovery Centre. This, combined with the official closing of the purchase of the property, represents a major milestone for the advancement of the project as it clears the way for preparation of the 12.5-acre site prior to final, operational approval from the Ministry of the Environment. Assuming everything continues move forward as expected, this is anticipated to be secured during the first quarter of 2012.
