Operations Manager, Southgate OMRC

Simon has a strong passion for sustainability focused agricultural businesses. This stems from his roots growing up on a family farm, years in the fertilizer and crop industry, and experience with the beneficial use of biosolids and other organic amendments. Simon is also certified as a Professional Agrologist.

As Operations Manager, Simon is responsible for overseeing Lystek’s Global Operations activities including operations of Lystek-owned and operated Organic Material Recovery Centres (OMRCs), LysteGro fertilizer operations across North America, and providing operations support as needed to our customer owned and operated installations worldwide.

OMRC management in Canada and the US includes optimizing facility operations, providing permitting and regulatory leadership, enhanced efficiencies related to our LysteGro fertilizer sales program, and collaboration on continued product-related research and development. For many of our municipal customers across North America, Simon supervises the hauling, application, permitting, and fertilizer sales.
